Introduction

​

         Virtual Meet and Learn (VML) is a complete digital platform founded to provide supplementary learning of existing mainstream form education. It has been formally inaugurated on Thursday, 20 May, 2020 with its motto-‘Quality Education through Distance Mode.’ E-based both online and offline learning platform, VML aims at providing online tuition classes, where most of the students can have ample opportunities to learn from their own place. Education that we get through means of modern technology has been replacing the traditional way of getting limited education so far. Thus, use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education during the pandemic situation can be a great opportunity to teach and learn for both students and teachers at large. Furthermore, VML provides online tuition of schools as well as universities courses in Nepal that can ensure independent learning in students with fully techno-friendly environment.

       VML has been initiated with the combine efforts of three new English student-teachers of Sukuna Multiple Campus, Morang, Nepal in order to ensure supplementary learning maintaining physical and social distance during pandemic (Covid19). The founding members, Dipak Rai, Tulasi Prashad Limbu and Dharmaraj Rai have done equal contribution in fostering VLM since its establishment. More specifically, a pioneer of VML, Mr. Dipak Rai explained its concept to his friends, Tulasi Prashad Limbu and Dharmaraj Rai respectively, who later helped to enlarge this project broader. Now, they are planning to run VML organized with  the qualified and technically well-equipped teachers of each subject based on the affordable price connecting students who are in the internet access.

Objectives of Virtual Meet and Learn (VML):

1. To prepare students in school and board exams.

2. To access education with affordable price to physically disabled students.

3. To expand the horizon of knowledge creating techno-friendly environment on students’ need-based learning with the facilitation in their difficulties.

4. To motivate students on their study introducing e- virtual learning.

5. To bring positive impacts of e-learning from around the world to support better and brighter learning.

6. To produce competent manpower.

7. To provide supplementary learning of existing mainstream formal education.

1. Enhances children’s education and well-being on the basis of individual learning pace or need and creating child as well as techno-friendly online environment.
